About Us

        We started with some window boxes on a back porch in Damascus Maryland and a love of spicy foods. In 2018 Xander purchased a home in Frederick that had a chicken coop area that was a perfect space to start a garden, but it was a mess. When the pandemic hit in 2020 he had the time to clean up the area and get rid of the coop. That summer he started growing a variety of peppers and experimenting with different sauce flavors.

         In 2022 Xander decided he had enough experience with growing peppers and plenty of recipes and ideas to actually make a go at it.

      We take pride in growing as many of our ingredients as we can as well as purchasing others from local sources. Frederick Maryland is our home and we believe strongly in supporting local businesses and local farmers.
